On June 7th in Cansiglio we had the first training session with the technicians of our local partner Friuli-Venezia Giulia Region, to share information and tools useful for their dissemination activities with the schools.
Within the SHSs (Saproxylic Habitat Sites) our experts have explained the theories behind the Life SPAN approach to Sustainable Forest Management for biodiversity conservation. Friuli-Venezia Giulia Region will soon start to disseminate these concepts to the youngest, helping to raise awareness around the importance of biodiversity and the ways to protect it without compromising the wood production and economy.
